Core Values

  1. We Seek to Value the Authority & Application of Scripture
    We believe the Bible is the only divinely inspired book ever written. We believe it tells us how we are to live in an obedient, love relationship with God. Therefore, we seek to live according to its standards by applying its principles and commands to our lives.

  2. We Seek to Value Healthy Relationships
    We believe that the bond of love should unite us and permeate everything we do as a church. We believe that this is how the world will know we are followers of Jesus. Therefore, we seek to have loving, Christ-honoring relationships with all people, especially one another.

  3. We Seek to Value the Lordship of Jesus Christ
    We believe that a lifestyle of obedience (not perfection) to Jesus Christ is necessary to be one of His disciples. Therefore, we seek to be obedient to Jesus Christ in all we do.

  4. We Seek to Value the Great Commandment
    We believe that people should love God first and love people second. Therefore, we seek to love God above everything else and love all people equally.
        (Matthew 22:36-40)
  5. We Seek to Value the Great Commission
    We believe every follower of Jesus should obey His commission to be a disciple maker. Therefore, we seek to make disciples in our daily lives.
        (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8)
  6. We Seek to Value Prayer
    We believe that God invites His children to have a relationship with Him through prayer. Therefore, we seek to have a consistent, genuine relationship with God by praying to Him regularly.
        (Hebrews 4:14-16, I Thessalonians 5:17)
  7. We Seek to Value Grace
    We believe that Jesus enabled us to receive grace by dying for our sins on the Cross. We believe that all people are sinful by nature, but can be saved by grace alone through faith alone and cannot earn their salvation. Therefore, we seek to live by grace in our daily lives.

  8. We Seek to Value Future Generations
    We believe that the future generations are the future of our church and the future of the Christian movement. Therefore, we seek to reach them and nurture them into mature followers of Jesus.

  9. We Seek to Value the Glory of God
    We believe every follower of Jesus should seek to honor God in all He does. Therefore, we seek to live lives that proclaim the unspeakable splendor and beauty of our great God.
